Are there any fees when using Halocards?

There are no transaction fees to worry about when using Halocard for USD purchases either online, or in-person, via Apple/Google Pay.

Non-USD purchases may attract an international transaction fee to cover currency conversion and overseas payment processing.

USD Purchases	$0	No fee from Halocard on any US dollar purchase, online or in-person.
Non-USD International Purchases	1.5% + $0.30	When a purchase is made in a currency other than USD. It covers currency conversion and international processing costs levied by Visa.
ATM Withdrawal	1.5% + $1.00	Applicable when withdrawing cash from an ATM, where ATM access is enabled. The ATM operator may also charge a separate fee.
ATM Balance Inquiry or Decline	$1.00	Applicable when checking your card balance or when a withdrawal at an ATM is declined.
Disputed Transaction Request	$35	Applicable when you request the refund (or chargeback) of an incorrect, fraudulent or contested charge directly from Visa. Fee is levied by Visa. Learn more.
