How do I add my card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?
All Halocard virtual cards are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and can be added to your mobile wallet when they're in an active and unlocked state.
Apple Pay
Make sure you Apple account is registered in one of Apple Pay's supported countries, then:
- Open the Wallet app.
- Tap + (top right).
- Select Debit or Credit Card.
- Tap Enter Card Details Manually.
- Enter your Halocard details including Card number. Expiry date and CVV.
- Review and accept the terms.
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.
Your Halocard will then appear in your Apple Wallet and can be used immediately for online and in person payments.
I get the error "Contact Card Issuer" or "Could Not Add Card" when trying to add a Halocard to my iPhone
If you are in a supported country and receive either of these errors, it means Apple has temporarily restricted you from adding cards to Apple Pay. Apple's security policy allows adding up to 10 cards every 90 days or **5 cards every 24 hours. **Please wait until either limit resets or try adding the card on a different device. If either fails, please contact Apple directly to resolve the issue.
Google Pay
Before you begin, make sure you have an Android phone with NFC, Google Pay app installed, screen lock enabled and your Halocard card details handy.
- Open the Google Pay app.
- Tap Add a card.
- Select Debit or credit card.
- Tap Enter details manually.
- Enter your Halocard detais including Card number, Expiry date and CVV.
- Review and accept the terms.
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.
Once added, your Halocard will appear in your Google Wallet and can be used immediately for online and in person payments.
