How do I cancel my Halocard subscription?

To cancel your account, please contact us at secure@halocard.co and we'll get that sorted for you.

Step 1: Your account is placed on hold

Once your cancellation is processed, your account will be placed on hold at the end of your current subscription period. All active virtual cards will be locked and no new transactions will be processed.

Step 2: 30-day recovery window

You have 30 days to change your mind. During this time you can reactivate your account and unlock your cards by adding funds. After 30 days, all virtual cards will be permanently cancelled.

Step 3: Account access after cancellation

You can still log in to view your transaction history and existing card details for up to one year after cancellation. To make new purchases, you would need to reactivate your account and create new cards. After one year, all account data will be permanently removed from our servers.

What if my subscription payment fails?

If your account balance is insufficient to cover your subscription fee, the same process applies automatically — your account will be placed on hold, your cards will be locked, and you'll have 30 days to add funds before cards are permanently cancelled.

Can I withdraw my remaining balance?

Withdrawals are not currently supported due to compliance restrictions. Any remaining balance will be applied toward future subscription payments if you reactivate. If your account is permanently closed, any remaining balance cannot be recovered.
