What happens to my personal data when I use Halocard?

We've gone to great lengths to minimise the data we collect and store and if we don't need it, we don't ask for it.

That extends to the sensitive stuff too: we don't hold any identity verification documents, transaction records, funding and bank account details, or audit and compliance records on our own servers. Instead, this data lives with our regulated partners, our identity verification provider, issuing bank, and payment processor, who each handle it under their own privacy policies for security, fraud and compliance.

Additional data that may be created when using Halocard could be:

  • Transaction data to authorise and settle card transactions via our card-issuing bank
  • Funding data to add funds to your account securely via our payment processor
  • Basic account data and device information to manage accounts and support enquiries via our team

We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers or third parties. Halocard retains only your name, phone number, and email address while your account is open.

For a more detailed overview, please see our Privacy Policy.
