How do I verify my business for Halocard?
To verify your Halocard Business account, you'll be asked to complete a Know Your Business (KYB) check as required by our financial partners. The application is split into four short steps and is securely processed by our identity verification partner, Sumsub.
- Basic information
- Your company's legal name and DBA "Doing Business As" name (if different)
- Legal structure (e.g. LLC, C-Corp, Partnership)
- Website
- Legal business address
- Legal information
- Your business registration number
- Tax ID or Employer Identification Number (EIN) if registered in the US
- Industry (searchable by name or NAICS code)
- A short description of your business including what you sell, who your customers are, and how this fits within your industry
- Company documents
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Shareholder Registry
Additional documents if required by your jurisdiction or legal structure could include Directors Registry, Certificate of Good Standing, State Registry, Proof of Address, Trust Agreement, Incumbency Certificate, or Power of Attorney.
- Company representatives
Finally, you'll provide identity details for the Halocard Administrator (the person completing this application) and any Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO/shareholder) who owns 25% or more of your business. Each of these representatives will need to verify their identity, and at least one UBO is required.
For each representative, we'll need:
- Legal name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Personal address
- A valid government-issued ID (passport, driver license, national ID, residence permit, or tax ID) and the country it was issued in
Completing the application usually takes around 10 minutes if you have your documents on hand.
The overall business verification process typically takes 24–72 hours once submitted.
