# How do I add my card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

All Halocard virtual cards are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and can be added to your mobile wallet when they're in an **active** and **unlocked** state.

###### Apple Pay

Make sure you Apple account is registered in one of [Apple Pay's supported countries](https://support.apple.com/en-us/102775), then:

1. Open the **Wallet** app.
2. Tap **+** (top right).
3. Select **Debit or Credit Card**.
4. Tap **Enter Card Details Manually**.
5. Enter your Halocard details including Card number. Expiry date and CVV.
6. Review and accept the terms.
7. Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.

###### I get the error "Contact Card Issuer" or "Could Not Add Card" when trying to add a Halocard to my iPhone

This means Apple has placed a **temporary restriction on adding cards to your Apple Wallet**. Apple's security policy allows **adding up to 10 cards every 90 days or 5 cards every 24 hours.** Please wait for either timeframe to expire before attempting again.

###### Google Pay

Before you begin, make sure you have an Android phone with NFC, Google Pay app installed, screen lock enabled and your Halocard card details handy.

1. Open the **Google Pay** app.
2. Tap **Add a card**.
3. Select **Debit or credit card**.
4. Tap **Enter details manually**.
5. Enter your Halocard detais including Card number, Expiry date and CVV.
6. Review and accept the terms.
7. Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.
