# How can I delete my account and remove my data?

We're sorry to hear Halocard hasn't met your expectations and we're happy to help delete your account and remove any data stored on our servers.

### Please do not delete your account for any of these reasons:

1. **To re-attempt your identity check:** Our issuing bank does not allow individuals to verify twice or have multiple accounts, so attempting to re-do your identity check (KYC) will result in an immediate rejection. If your identity check failed and you'd like to request a manual review, please contact support instead.
2. **To reset your virtual card count:** Unfortunately virtual card counts cannot be reset by deleting your account and doing so would also result in your being unable to be verified as per the point above. 

### To delete your account:

In the top-right hand corner click the **Help (?)** or **Settings (⛭)** icon, open **Profile** (👤) and choose ${color}[#ff0000](**Delete Account**).
