# Does Halocard have an overall spending limit?

There is **no overall spending limit** on a Halocard account. You can spend up to the amount of funds you deposit.

All card purchases will be paid from your account balance while your balance is sufficient.

###### Individual Spending Limits for Cards

Separately to this, you can set [individual spending limits](https://halocard.crisp.help/en/article/uupdate-how-can-i-add-spending-limits-bwd47x/) for your cards.

If an **individual spending limit** for a card is **lower than your account balance**, the card will adhere to the individual spending limit.

If there is no individual spending limit defined for a card, your full account balance can be spent via that card.
